Whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned professional, everyone who's anyone in the LBM industry should be there, including:
- Owners, managers, and additional staff from independently owned retail lumber yards (and their spouses/guests)
- Suppliers of LBM products and services (may attend as exhibitors only)
- Contractors / Builders
- Local college instructors and students
- Various other pre-approved guests
- This event is NOT open to the general public
General Sessions/Keynotes/Seminars
We're excited to introduce two new sessions during the event: the Opening General Session on Day 1 and the Closing General Session on Day 2. Both are all about you, the participants! These sessions include lunch, BizCon announcements, important BLD news and updates, awards, prize distribution, and inspirational keynote speakers. You can attend both sessions with the All Access Pass, but please remember to register in advance, as we won't be able to offer onsite registration due to meal planning requirements.
We aim to deliver only the BEST industry education at our events. The seminars (choice of one) are included in the All Access Pass.
Installation Presentations
Join us for installation presentations by LBM suppliers/exhibitors during the trade show hours. Each session, lasting just 20-30 minutes, will be your exclusive “how-to” on the installation of specific building products. Get hands-on expertise directly from the pros!

"Brews & Bites Bash" Evening Reception
Join BLD at the “Brews & Bites Bash” Evening Reception on Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Enjoy great food, great drinks, and even greater company!
Each person who purchases an “All Access Pass” may attend the Brews & Bites Bash on Wedesday evening from 5:30 pm – 7 pm at the hotel if they registered in advance for the event.
Contests & Prizes
By visiting various exhibitors and sponsors, you have the chance to win big – $500 in cash or fantastic prizes every day of the event! You don’t need to be present to win. But if you are, you'll score an additional $250 on top of your winnings! Check out the contest details during registration. Get ready to win!
Snacks & Beverages
Day 1 - Soda, water and dessert provided during the afternoon.
Day 2 - Coffee, soda, water and light breakfast items provided during the morning.
Happy Hour Reception
Stop in the exhibit hall on Day 1 for free keg beer and soda from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Cash bar service available all afternoon from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm. (No bar service provided in exhibit hall on the morning of Day 2.)
Charity Event
GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY! Engage and express your philanthropic side and partake in the new charity event onsite with your friends and colleagues. Build community at the event while also supporting the greater community! This function will take place within the exhibit hall during trade show hours. Additional details to be announced closer to the event.

Women in the LBM Industry
Calling all women in the lumber and building materials industry! Join us at our Women in the LBM Industry session during BizCon. It's a chance to connect with familiar faces from our online Lunch & Learn events and meet new industry peers. This session is open to women with either an All Access Pass or a Trade Show Pass.
Contractors
Invite your contractor customers to BizCon to walk the trade show floor and explore the products and services hands-on during the trade show and attend installation presentations. Contractors are welcome to join seminars and meals by purchasing the All Access Pass.
Contractors can receive a free Trade Show Pass if registered by a member dealer, or it's $30 otherwise. All Access Passes are available for $150 (member registered) or $200 (individual registration).
Schools (Students & Instructors)
Each year, BLD invites area high schools and colleges to attend BizCon on day 2 to further educate and engage students and instructors in the LBM industry.
The morning kicks off for them with a Student Career Panel led by member supplier/dealer representatives, who cover potential job paths for students once they graduate from 9:00 am – 9:45 am on Day 2. The students are then encouraged to visit with the vendors in the exhibit hall as well as attend any installation presentations taking place.
