BLD Connection is excited to present our new “GETAWAY” MILL TOUR!
We believe that exploring the building product industry alongside regional attractions is crucial for fostering local innovation and collaboration. By visiting distinctive mills and manufacturing facilities within our membership region, we gain valuable insights into regional practices, emerging trends, and sustainable solutions shaping the future of our industry.

In addition to professional site visits, each tour will include opportunities to explore fun and culturally rich area attractions—from historic landmarks to local eateries and hidden gems that showcase the character of the region. This blend of industry engagement and local discovery not only builds relationships and strengthens our community ties but also celebrates the unique resources available in our own backyards.

These tours will take place annually in the spring/summer. The first “Getaway” trip is scheduled for Spring 2026 (TBD date)—stay tuned for more details!
